Chui

Chui records meetings on an iPhone, an Apple Watch, a Mac or the web, then transcribes and summarises them in the language each meeting was held in. This connector is Chui's text interface: what a person can do by tapping in the app, they can do here by asking.

It searches every transcript, summary, title and note and returns short quoted snippets with the meeting they came from; it reads the summary of one meeting, or its transcript a window at a time; it says how much of a meeting was actually captured; it hands the user a temporary link to listen to their own audio; and it looks up the people in their meetings — how often they met, when they last spoke, and the short standing note Chui keeps about each.

It also writes. It renames a meeting, puts a name to a speaker, asks for a fresh summary, corrects what Chui knows about a person, shares a meeting or stops sharing it, sets reminders and privacy, connects and disconnects a calendar, and manages devices and sign-in methods.

Anything that destroys something — deleting a meeting, folding two people into one entry, removing a colleague — takes two steps. Chui first names exactly what would go, and the second step accepts only a token bound to that one thing, so nothing is ever destroyed that the user was not shown by name first. Nothing here can start or stop a recording: that needs a device with a microphone in the room.
