Docket is a scope change tool for agencies and freelance studios. Clients submit change requests through a shared link, the agency assesses the timeline and cost impact, and the client approves in writing, producing a signed, timestamped record for every project.
The Docket connector lets Claude work with that record on your behalf:
- Ask what needs your attention: open requests by status, the oldest one nobody has assessed, and approvals a client has been sitting on for more than a week.
- Read any change request in full, with its assessment and approval record, and pull a project's change history before a client call.
- Draft an impact assessment (accept, decline or needs discussion, plus days and cost added) from a conversation. It's saved as a draft and nothing is sent.
- Once you confirm the draft, send it to the client's approver. This sends the same branded email and 30-day approval link as the Docket dashboard.
Drafting and sending are separate tools, and sending is marked destructive, so Claude asks before anything reaches a client. The connection acts as the signed-in user: project managers see only their own projects, owners and admins see the workspace, and no connection can reach another workspace. Every assessment and send made through Claude is recorded as such in the project's history.
The connector cannot create or edit projects, delete anything, or export PDFs. Those stay in the Docket dashboard.
