Evident collects and displays customer evidence — product reviews, photos and video, questions and answers, and a loyalty programme — for BigCommerce, Shopify, Thottle and headless stores.

Connect it to Claude and you can work with that evidence directly. Ask which products dropped below four stars this quarter and what the negative reviews are complaining about. Find last month's unanswered reviews under three stars and draft a reply for each. Read your FAQs alongside the last two hundred reviews for a product and find the questions customers keep asking that you have not answered. Look up everything one customer has bought, reviewed and earned. Summarise the moderation queue and flag anything with personal data or a safety concern.

There are 15 read tools covering stores, catalogue, orders, reviews, review analytics, evidence placements, FAQs and loyalty, and 7 write tools: moderate a review, reply to it, send a review request for an order, create or update an FAQ, adjust loyalty points, and create a loyalty reward. Read tools are annotated read-only, so Claude can show you which calls change something.

You sign in with your Evident account and choose an organisation. Claude then acts as you, with your role in that organisation, and Evident re-checks your membership on every call. Nothing is cached between calls and no conversation data is collected.

Evident UGC acts on the store environments your Evident API key can reach, one at a time. It reads product reviews and the photos and video customers attached to them, products, orders and their line items, FAQs, loyalty accounts, rewards and redemptions, and aggregate review and loyalty analytics. It can look up a single customer by email address to see their reviews, orders and loyalty standing. With a write-scoped key it can also publish or hide a review, post a public reply that appears on your storefront, send a review-request email to a real customer, create and edit FAQs, create loyalty rewards, and change a customer's redeemable points balance. It cannot reach billing, connectors, API keys, partner or admin data; it cannot create reviews or bulk-delete reviews or orders; and it cannot import or export loyalty data or gallery leads. A read-only key can connect and read but cannot perform any of the write actions.
