Inspire Studio

Inspire Studio is a digital asset manager for creative agencies: a place to organize, version, review, approve, and share creative work with clients, scoped to each brand and project. This MCP server lets an AI assistant work that library the way the team already does — simple for people, powerful for agents.

Read tools cover discovery: search assets by content and tags; browse brands, projects, and folders; pull an asset’s full detail, version history, and review status; and see the agency-wide review queue. Two tools answer what agencies ask most: “what’s awaiting my approval right now?” across every brand, and “what’s the latest approved version?” so you can resolve and send a client the final file.

Write tools, each behind a granular OAuth scope, make it a real DAM rather than a search box: approve or request changes and leave review comments; upload files (base64 or from a URL), add versions, tag assets, and edit metadata; create and organize folders; create and update brands and projects, including assigning members and roles; and generate client-facing, no-login share links for an asset, folder, or project, with optional expiry and password.

Security is first-class. It uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and granular, action-based scopes (read, assets:write, approvals:write, sharing:write, assets:delete). Read-only is the default; a connection holds only what the user grants on the consent screen. A scope never escalates privileges — every write re-checks the user’s own permissions on that brand, project, or asset — and every change is recorded in the activity log with the assistant’s name. Personal API keys are read-only, and all data is scoped to the user’s agency.

The result: ask what needs your approval, approve it, and send the client the final version — all from chat.
