Patent Bear

Patent Bear connects your assistant to patent records, prosecution documents, citations, families, and court decisions. Its 38 tools include claim-level similar-patent search, examiner office-action search, patent term definitions, source passage retrieval with column-and-line cites, and three drafts built from the record as Word documents: a Definitions section from the client's own earlier filings, an Information Disclosure Statement from a pasted list, and a double-patenting chart. Check quotations and arguments against source passages, then save patents, opinions, highlights, analyses, definitions, and notes to your Library and accessible matters. The build_claim_chart prompt carries the chart format.

Requests and submitted passages reach Patent Bear; saved work is stored in your account, and matter notes are visible to authorized members. Retrieval results are interpreted by your chosen AI service. Eight Patent Bear analyses run from the connector: Prior Art, Disclosure, Charting, Citations, Sequence, Chemistry, Clearance and Invention. They use our infrastructure and model providers and consume account credits (structured searches are included on Pro and Team); every run is confirmed first: the first call returns what will run and what it costs, and nothing starts until you confirm. Source coverage and citation precision vary; tools flag unavailable and approximate evidence, and work product requires attorney review. Free includes 20 monthly connector requests; paid plans add saving and expanded access.
