SKM turns a financial model into something an assistant can reason about. A model is a graph of accounts, parameters and formulas rather than a grid of cells, so "what happens to enterprise value if we cut prices 10%?" is answered by the model itself instead of by rewriting it.

Connected to Claude you can:

• Build a model from scratch — name a company, choose a template, point it at your documents, and SKM researches and builds it in the background.
• Read any figure out of a model you own — by year, segment, product or region, with the arithmetic shown so you can check it adds up.
• Change an assumption and see what it does, on a what-if branch so your base case stays untouched.
• Work backwards — goal-seek the parameter that hits a target, or measure which drivers move a number most. Both propose; neither changes anything.
• Run quality checks: balance-sheet balance, retained-earnings continuity, sign conventions, forecast slice coverage and more.
