Four tools:
- decide_software: what to buy or shortlist for a job, budget, team size and existing tools.
- compare_software: compare 2 to 4 named products for your situation.
- find_alternatives: you want to leave a product and need options with trade-offs.
- check_software: prices, free plans, AI assistant and MCP support, stack integrations and recent changes for named products.
Answers include the reasons behind each pick, the trade-offs and recorded prices. Facts that cannot be verified are flagged as unverified, never invented.
ToolScout is read-only: no purchases, no account actions. No sponsored content and no affiliate links in answers.
