HourProof helps short-term and long-term rental owners keep contemporaneous material-participation records for tax purposes. Through ChatGPT, users log property-management activities as they happen ("log 90 minutes of turnover cleaning at Beach House yesterday"), review their activity log with date, property, and category filters, check year-to-date hours against their material-participation goals (100 hours for STR, 750 for LTR) with on-pace status, and cross-reference synced guest reservations when reconstructing work performed. Activities logged through ChatGPT are labeled as agent-logged in the user's audit trail and sync to the HourProof mobile app.
