Kairos Timer

Kairos is time tracking and invoicing for freelancers and small teams. With this plugin, ChatGPT runs your timer, reads your ledger and does your billing for you.

Say "I'm starting on the Northwind redesign" and it starts the timer on the right project — it resolves loose names, confirms the client, project and task with you first, and stops whatever was running. "Stop the timer", "log 45 minutes on the report", "move the last entry to the redesign and make it an hour" all just work.

Every hour the assistant logs is marked as an assistant's, so the ledger always shows its hours apart from yours. "Time report for last month by client", "how many agent hours went into the redesign", "how much of the Apex retainer is left this month", "who worked on Northwind this week" — each answer carries the split, and budgets say whether they cover the whole project or the month.

A new engagement can start in the chat: "new client Acme, project Landing page at 150 an hour, start the timer" creates both — the rate read back for your yes — and starts the clock. Expenses too: "log the $40 Figma seat to Northwind".

At month end: "what can I bill?" lists unbilled hours and expenses per client at your rates. "Invoice Northwind" shows the draft and creates it on your yes. Add a deposit, reword a line, take an entry off, mark it sent or paid; every change is confirmed and read back with the new total, and every version of a draft is kept.

You choose what the assistant may do when you connect: the timer, invoicing, the workspace, or all three. Tokens are scoped to one workspace, expire and renew on their own, and can be revoked any time from Settings → Assistants and tools. Money is shown only to owners and managers, and nothing is sent to a client until you say so.
