PatchOps

ChatGPT plugin

Oil and gas data, with sources

View in ChatGPT directory

PatchOps connects ChatGPT to public oil and gas records. Ask in plain language about wells, drilling permits, production, frac disclosures, survey sections, and energy prices. Each answer names its source.

Sources in this app: the Texas Railroad Commission (wells, drilling permits, well dossiers, and production), Louisiana SONRIS, the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, FracFocus chemical disclosures, U.S. Energy Information Administration natural gas and petroleum data, and Bureau of Land Management survey sections. PatchOps can also show wells on a map.

All tools in this app only read public data. They do not change anything in any account.

Who it is for: landmen, mineral and royalty owners, engineers, analysts, and anyone who needs well, permit, or production facts with a named public source.

Limits: data is only as current as each agency publishes it. Some agencies post production months late, and PatchOps labels unfiled months instead of showing them as zero.
