SPIJ IDx gives ChatGPT the current, systematized text of Peruvian laws and regulations, such as the Constitution, the Civil, Criminal, Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure and Tax codes, the General Administrative Procedure Law, and the main labor and tax laws with their regulations. The text comes from public SPIJ, the Peruvian Legal Information System of the Ministry of Justice, organized article by article.
With SPIJ IDx, ChatGPT can:
- search the articles that deal with a topic, in natural language;
- read exact articles by number, one or several at once;
- show the outline of a law (books, titles, chapters and articles);
- list the available laws in the corpus;
- read an article in detail, with SPIJ's amendment notes.
Answers cite the article and the law each statement comes from. SPIJ IDx is an informational service; it does not provide legal advice and does not replace the official publication in the official gazette El Peruano.
