Tako

ChatGPT plugin

Premium live data & web search

View in ChatGPT directory

Tako searches the web and premium, licensed data in one call, and answers with cited, interactive charts alongside the web results.

Ask about a company's revenue, inflation, a website's traffic, sports standings, or prediction-market odds. When Tako's data has the figure, you get it as a chart from a provider such as S&P Global, FRED, or Semrush, with its source. Every answer also includes web results, such as news and pages that put the figure in context. A question with no chart gets web results alone.

Tako also fetches the full text of a web page or the data rows behind a chart, and turns numbers you provide into a shareable chart. For multi-step research, ask for Tako's agents. The Tako agent ranks and compares companies or countries across metrics, and the company agent builds lists of companies and the professionals at them.

Tako is for analysts, researchers, and anyone who needs a number they can cite. Sign in with a Tako account to use it. Charts you create from your own data are public to anyone with the link.

Skills

  • tako-agent

Use when the user explicitly asks for Tako's research agent or for deep, multi-step research with Tako, such as "use the Tako agent to…", "have Tako research…", or "use Tako's company agent to…". Tako's agents plan the steps, search the web and licensed data, and return a cited answer with charts or lists. For any other question, use tako-search, even one that needs a ranking or a calculation.

  • tako-search

Use when you need to look something up: current events, facts, figures, or pages on any topic. Also use it when the answer needs a calculation over real-world data. Tako searches the web and a knowledge graph of licensed data in one call, and returns web results, plus a structured, cited card when the graph has one.
