Snap a record and find out what it is. VinylAI checks your photo against a catalog of 8.6 million vinyl, shellac and flexi releases: the album, the pressings it could be, and what was actually read on your photo.
Which pressing do I have? Popular albums have hundreds of pressings. VinylAI narrows them down with what's on your record: the catalog number, the label and the runout etching in the dead wax. It tells you which detail would settle it, and shows every version of the album so you can see where yours fits. When the catalog shows the earliest pressing it knows of, VinylAI says so, labelled as catalog data.
Keep your collection. Sign in with your email once and say "save it as VG+". The record goes into your VinylAI collection with its condition and notes. Ask "what's in my collection?" any time. The same collection opens in the VinylAI app on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android.
Every record links to its Discogs page and to VinylAI.
Works best with a clear photo of the label or the runout. Not sure about a match? VinylAI says so, and asks for the label or the runout instead of guessing.
