Virlow
ChatGPT pluginPrivate notes and AI memory
Virlow is an end-to-end encrypted workspace for notes and connected ideas. This plugin connects to your Virlow account through Virlow's hosted connector.
Ask it to search and read your notes, write a new note, or update one you already have. If you turn on AI memories in Virlow, it can also save short facts you ask it to keep, such as preferences, decisions and project details, and recall them in later conversations so you do not have to repeat yourself.
Memories are opt-in and off by default. Each memory is an encrypted note in your Memories workspace that you can read, edit or delete in Virlow at any time. The connector only sees the workspaces you choose to expose.
You unlock a session by entering your master password on Virlow's own unlock page, never in chat. While a session is unlocked, Virlow's server decrypts the notes and memories the connector reads; you choose how long it stays unlocked and can lock it or disconnect at any time.

setup
Use right after Virlow is installed, or when the user asks how to set up, connect, unlock or start using Virlow, or when Virlow tools report that the session is locked, the account is not connected or AI memories are off. Walks through connecting, unlocking, turning on AI memories and a first request.
virlow-notes
Use when the user asks to find, read, create or update their Virlow notes, or to save something from this conversation as a note. Not for short lasting facts or preferences; use virlow-remember for those.
virlow-recall
Use when a task involves the user's own ongoing projects, people, preferences or past decisions, or when they ask what you remember or to catch them up. Pulls what Virlow already holds before answering. Not for general knowledge questions or tasks with no tie to the user's own context.
virlow-remember
Use when the user asks to remember, save or update a fact, or states a lasting preference or decision ("from now on...", "remember that..."). Saves it to Virlow memories. Also use when the user asks to forget a saved memory. Not for drafts, documents or long text; use virlow-notes for those.
