WhisperTranscript: Transcribe

WhisperTranscript brings audio and video transcription into ChatGPT, converting recordings into searchable text and timestamped subtitles. Use it to turn spoken content into a written record you can review, revisit, and share.

For meetings, turn a recording into a written reference for reviewing recorded discussions, questions, and decisions. Refer back to the transcript when preparing your own notes or reviewing a particular exchange.

For interviews, convert recorded conversations into text that helps you review questions and responses. Speaker labels, when available, can make it easier to follow who contributed to the conversation.

For lectures and study recordings, create a text reference you can read alongside your learning materials. For podcasts and other recorded content, review spoken passages and work with completed transcripts or timestamped subtitles.

To begin, select an audio or video recording in the WhisperTranscript widget. Start transcription and track its progress. Once the job is complete, view the returned transcript and subtitle output in the workspace.

Transcripts provide a readable text version of the spoken content, while timestamped subtitles include timing information for following the sequence of speech. Use the completed text as a reference for your own notes, follow-up questions, or content review.

Revisit recent recordings to return to earlier transcription work. Review completed results and share finished transcripts or captions. This helps you move from an audio or video recording to text you can refer back to during study, discussion, or content preparation.

Select media through the WhisperTranscript widget. Files attached directly to the chat are not supported by this plugin.
