You can also let it write back at the bench: start a plant or explant, open a task, record a transfer, log a contamination event, add a note or a photo, draft a media recipe, run an SOP, or register a device and its readings. Reading and writing are separate permissions, granted one capability at a time — allowing xPlant to see your plants never lets it change them, and you can allow reading alone.
