The Pantry Butler

The Pantry Butler keeps two things together that every other recipe tool separates: the food in your kitchen, and the person whose recipe it is.

Ask what to cook tonight and the answer is built from the recipes you saved and what is actually in your pantry, fridge and freezer — not from general knowledge, and not from a search engine. Recipes ranked by how much of each you already have, with the missing items named.

Every recipe carries its creator. The cook who filmed it is named and linked on the card, saving a recipe through an assistant preserves that credit exactly as saving it in the app does, and creators in the founding programme are paid a share for the life of every subscription they bring. Recipes come from somewhere. This is the only kitchen connector that says where.

Six tools. Four read: what to cook tonight, what is in the kitchen, what you have saved, and which account is connected. Two write, and only if you grant the write scope: add items to the kitchen, and save a recipe from a link.

Connecting takes one screen. The assistant registers itself, you see exactly what it is asking for, and nothing is granted until you press Allow. There is no token to paste. Read-only is the default, so an assistant that only answers "what's for dinner" never gets permission to change anything, and any connection can be cut from the connect page with immediate effect.
