SnagRes

SnagRes watches the booking calendars of the hardest restaurants to get into in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago, across Resy, OpenTable, Tock and SevenRooms, and keeps a measured record of how each one actually behaves.

Ask Claude things like:

• When can I book Carbone for Saturday, December 12?
• What hard-to-book tables are open in Los Angeles tonight?
• How hard is it to get into Lilia for four, and do tables come back?
• What are the hardest reservations in Chicago right now?

Five read-only tools:

• open_now: tables bookable right now in a city, with the actual times.
• when_does_it_release: a restaurant's release time and booking window, and, given a dining date, the exact day and local time that date becomes bookable.
• restaurant_intel: how often a table for two and for four is open, and how often a table comes back as a cancellation.
• hardest_tables: the hardest restaurants in a city, ranked by measured availability rather than reputation.
• last_table_spotted: the most recent table SnagRes saw open.

SnagRes never books, holds or resells a table. Every answer links to the restaurant's own booking page, so the reservation is made by the diner, in their own name. No account or sign-in is needed.
