Squirrel Products Search

Squirrel Product Search lets your assistant find a product and show you who sells it in the UK right now, at what price, whether it is in stock, and where to buy it.

Ask in plain words: a product name ("Dyson V15 Detect"), a model number ("LG OLED55B6"), a barcode (EAN or UPC), an Amazon ASIN, or paste a product page URL to find the same product at other retailers. The assistant calls one read-only tool, search_products, and gets back the matching products with their current offers: retailer, price in GBP, stock status and a link to buy.

How results are ordered: offers are sorted by price, cheapest first, with in-stock offers before out-of-stock ones. Results are never ordered by commission and no retailer can pay for a position.

How Squirrel is paid: offer links go through Squirrel Links (sqrlinks.ai), which takes you to the retailer. Squirrel may be paid by the retailer or its affiliate network when a link is used. You pay the retailer's normal price. This is stated in every result.

Privacy: no account is needed. The server receives only the search your assistant sends (the product, the country and how many results to return), never your conversation. Results are cached for 10 minutes and a hashed form of the caller's IP address is kept for 2 minutes to apply rate limits.

Coverage: the United Kingdom today, from thousands of retailers' product feeds refreshed throughout the day. Squirrel is built by Obsidian IO Ltd, the company behind the Squirrel price comparison tools for publishers.
