Every string was tested on the same machine under the same protocol, so the numbers compare fairly: string bed stiffness, how much tension it loses, how much energy it returns, spin potential, ball bite, string friction and how far it stretches under load. Each figure comes with its percentile across the whole database, so "is this soft?" has a real answer.
Ask about one string and get every measurement, an estimated playable life, a tension adjustment versus your usual, and how it ranks for spin, comfort, control, power, tension hold, durability and feel. Compare two or three strings side by side. Describe what you want and your racquet (string pattern, head size, frame stiffness) and get a ranked shortlist with the reason each string fits, using the same finder as stringspec.com. Search and sort the database by brand, material, gauge, any measurement or price.
Answers keep measurements and estimates apart, carry a retailer's set price with the date it was checked, and link the string's page on stringspec.com for the full charts. The connector is read-only and needs no account.
