Typetoe

Typetoe is a writing app for novelists. It keeps a manuscript as a tree of chapters, together with a memory of the book: its characters and places, a synopsis built from each chapter, and a charter of rules the writer sets.

This connector lets Claude work on that manuscript directly, without copying text into the chat and back.

• Read: list your projects, open a chapter, and see the document you have open in Typetoe.
• Search: find a phrase, a character or a scene across the whole project.
• Remember: read the project memory and the synopsis, so Claude knows who is who before it answers.
• Write: create a project or a chapter, rewrite a chapter, or edit specific passages while leaving every other word untouched. Every change is saved as a version first, so any earlier text can be restored in Typetoe.
• Leave notes: suggest a checklist item for you to review, or file a source in the project's bibliography.

Claude follows the project's charter when it writes. A write is refused if you have edited the document since Claude read it, so it never overwrites work it has not seen. If your Typetoe is still empty, Claude starts by asking what you are writing and how you want to work.

The connector cannot move, rename or delete documents, empty the Trash, or change your account.
