Verus prices private-credit loans deterministically: the same inputs always produce the same price. It is the valuation engine behind Markst Ltd, an independent private-credit valuation firm in London.

What you can do from Claude

• Price a deal: DCF value per 100 of outstanding, with a low / mid / high range and credit metrics.
• Explain the mark: sensitivity ladders on spread, hazard rate, recovery and rates.
• Stress a portfolio: apply predefined macro and sector scenarios and see the per-deal and NAV impact.
• Cross-check pricing: comparable deals with implied spreads.
• Review a fund: positions, NAV, weighted-average spread and concentrations.
• Register a deal from a pasted term sheet or credit memo.
• Score a deal on factors (direct lending, mezzanine, CRE, distressed) from the inputs you supply.

How it works Pricing is a discounted cash-flow model with a hazard-rate credit adjustment and modelled recoveries. There is no machine-learning pricing and no randomness. Every write tool records a valuation run, so each number has an audit trail. No tool deletes or overwrites data.

Limits Results depend on the deal terms and assumptions held in your Verus account. The multi-factor tool refuses when a required input is missing rather than assuming one. Deal creation from text uses an AI extractor that can search the web to fill gaps; turn web search off for private material.

Access A Verus account is required (beta.markst.com). Sign-in uses OAuth: you choose read-only or read-and-write access, and your password never reaches Claude.
