WPVibe connects Claude to self-hosted WordPress sites so users can create and edit content, manage plugins and themes, work with popular page builders, upload media, run audits, and safely handle site maintenance from chat. It uses OAuth, encrypted site credentials, draft-theme previews, and explicit approval for destructive operations. Supports Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks, Breakdance, SeedProd, WooCommerce, the WordPress Abilities API, and a guarded WP-CLI-compatible command layer. Works with any WordPress plugin.

Install

Run: claude mcp add --transport http wpvibe https://mcp.wpvibe.ai/mcp/claude

In Claude Code, run /mcp, select wpvibe, and complete the OAuth sign-in. Install and activate the free WPVibe WordPress plugin, then ask Claude to connect your site and authorize it in WordPress. Start with: "List my connected sites." No paid WPVibe plan is required; daily usage limits apply.

Permissions
Accesses only WordPress sites you explicitly connect, with the permissions of the WordPress account you authorize. Can read and modify posts, pages, media, comments, users, plugins, themes, files, settings, and plugin data exposed through supported WordPress APIs. Depending on the site, this can include private content, customer details, and WooCommerce orders. Destructive or hard-to-undo operations require explicit approval by default. Disconnect a site or revoke its WordPress Application Password to remove access.
