Gainable builds finished internal apps -- the kind a team actually runs on -- from data you already have.

Point it at a spreadsheet and it reads the real workbook, infers a schema from the actual values, and walks you through a short design conversation: what the data is, what to derive from it, how it should look, and what it should do on its own. Then it builds the app, hosts it, and hands you a link. Publish when you're ready and it gets a public URL.

None of it is a prototype. Apps come with real CRUD, views and access control, and they stay editable -- describe a change in plain language and it is built and deployed server-side. There is no local codebase and no scaffolding left for you to finish.

You can also start from nothing but an idea and skip the spreadsheet entirely.

Datasets are first-class and independent of any one app. Create one from rows or a file, read its write contract, then push a full snapshot whenever the source changes -- so a script, a scheduled job or an agent can keep an app's data current without touching the app itself.

Requires a Gainable account. Your apps and data live in your Gainable workspace.

Gainable builds and manages apps in your Gainable account. You choose which account when you connect. By default it can: - see the apps in that account - create new apps, import spreadsheets and build them - change, publish and share apps, and manage who can open them Three things are off unless you tick them when connecting: - Write code in your apps — author views, routes and models directly, instead of asking Gainable to make the change. - Work with your datasets — list them, read their rows, create new ones, replace the contents of an existing one, and delete one no app is using. Replacing contents overwrites every row. - Add and manage people on the account — invite by email, change whether someone is a builder or an app user, and remove them. Inviting a builder uses a paid seat. It only ever acts inside the Gainable account you picked. It cannot read files from your computer. You can change or revoke what it's allowed to do at any time from your account's connections screen.
