Encoded Brands brings your brand’s voice, values, claims, and boundaries into ChatGPT through Brand Context Protocol (BCP), an open specification we authored and maintain.
Read published BCP files from the Encoded Registry without signing in, with their trust level shown first. Connect your account to open one brand you own or were invited to, identify gaps, and draft changes. Save a draft, prepare an exact revision, and request the brand owner’s approval before publication.
You can also ask a colleague focused questions after confirming each recipient. The colleague sees only the questions and attached excerpts. Their answers remain unapproved input until the owner reviews them.
Editors propose; owners publish. Nothing is published without the owner’s approval of the exact revision by email. Each brand connection reaches only the brand selected at sign-in.
Registry publications are signed so their integrity can be checked. Domain verification and publication integrity do not establish the truth of every brand claim. BCP files remain portable and can be self-hosted.
