SelfPub Go

SelfPub Go is the ads and book-economics app for authors who publish on Amazon KDP. This plugin connects ChatGPT to your SelfPub Go account, so you can ask about your books and Amazon Ads in plain words.

What you can do:

• Check how your ads did: spend, sales, orders and ACOS for any period, by campaign, keyword, placement or hour, plus a two-day summary of what went well and what went wrong.
• Find wasted spend: the search terms shoppers typed, words that keep spending without selling, off-topic searches, and negative keyword candidates.
• Know what a sale is worth: royalty per sale, break-even ACOS and the highest cost per click that still pays, per edition and marketplace.
• Follow your ranks: Best Sellers Rank, ratings, review counts and the positions of the keywords you track.
• Plan new books: your launch board and book projects, KDP calculators (royalty, cover size, page count, sales from Best Sellers Rank), niche research, ideas from your own ads, and checks of titles, descriptions and keyword fields against KDP rules.
• See why a campaign is not showing, today's budget pacing, Amazon's suggested bids and budgets, and your Amazon Ads billing status.
• Make changes with a preview: bids, budgets, pausing, negative keywords, new keywords and targets, new Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns, book ideas and projects, and a new book's ads launch, whose campaigns start spending once created. Every proposal lists each item before and after, and nothing is applied until you say yes. Each applied change is recorded in your SelfPub Go change history, marked as made by AI, and can be undone.

Who it is for: self-published authors and small publishers who run Amazon Ads for their books and manage them in SelfPub Go.

Limits:

• Requires a SelfPub Go account with Amazon Ads connected in the SelfPub Go desktop app for macOS or Windows.
• Answers come from the copy of your Amazon Ads data that SelfPub Go keeps, and each answer says how fresh it is. A few lookups are read live from Amazon and have a daily limit.
• KDP royalty reports stay on your computer and are not available through this plugin.
• It cannot change your sign-in, billing or Amazon connection, make payments, or see other authors' data.
• When you connect, you choose read-only access or allow changes, and you can disconnect at any time in SelfPub Go.
