Run a VAT number check for EU tax identifiers in VIES and get a dated XLSX validation log.
Check up to 100 business VAT numbers against the published number structures, then query the live validation service. See valid, invalid, unavailable or error for each input, with the reason and consultation time. Registered names and addresses appear when the member state publishes them. Add your own VAT number to request consultation numbers.
Keep input order, mark duplicates, filter and sort results, check service status and re-check unavailable numbers. Download dated XLSX and CSV logs for your invoice and audit files; links expire in about an hour.
Limits: covers the 27 EU member states and Northern Ireland (XI). A validation reflects the member state database at consultation time; invalid means not valid for cross-border transactions on that day. Some member states do not return names or addresses. Structure checks apply no national check-digit algorithm. Unavailable means retry later. This is not tax advice and does not decide whether reverse charge applies.
